About West Cheshire Homes

West Cheshire Homes is the place to come for people looking for a home in the Cheshire West and Chester area.   The scheme advertises social rented homes and aims to provide you with more choice about where you can live as well as advise you about any other housing options that are available. We provide the information you need so you can make the right housing choices.

All applicants are assessed according to their housing need as defined in our Allocations Policy, given a priority band and advised what size of home they are eligible for.  You can find out what your best option is and if you are eligible you can apply to rent from the council and housing associations in Cheshire West and Chester.

If you need further information on how the West Cheshire Homes scheme works then please see our How It Works page alternatively, if you wish to speak to a member of our team or you want to speak to any of our partner housing associations please visit our Contact page.

It decides how properties will be allocated in certain defined geographical areas.  Local lettings policies will only be used in exceptional circumstances, to meet specific local issues within an area. If a local letting policy has been agreed for a property this will be clearly displayed on the advert.
